About ALMA

Every person carries inherent value, no matter how far addiction has taken them.

At Alma Recovery Center, we walk alongside individuals and their families as they begin the journey of rebuilding their lives — helping them find stability, healing, and a renewed sense of direction.

Because addiction does not only impact the individual — it deeply affects families, children, and loved ones — we are committed to supporting the entire circle of those who have been impacted.

The name

The word “Alma” means soul — and that meaning is at the heart of everything we do.

Addiction has a way of taking more than just health — it can take identity, relationships, passion, and a sense of purpose. It can create distance between parents and children, strain families, and leave lasting wounds on those who love them most.

Mission

To help individuals reclaim
what was never truly lost.

Their soul, their true inner self — while also restoring the
relationships and connections that matter most. We walk alongside our clients and their loved ones as they mend broken relationships, rebuild trust, rediscover their passions, and begin to heal together.

Vision

Communities where individuals
and families heal together.

Where recovery restores not only the person,
but the relationships around them — creating a foundation of
trust, accountability, and lasting connection.

Our founding

Founded from shared lived experience.

Our founders know firsthand what it means to lose everything — losing connection with family, losing children, losing freedom, and losing sight of a life worth living due to addiction.

Each of them has walked through their own journey of brokenness and restoration. Through recovery, what once felt lost was found again — relationships were rebuilt, families were restored, and purpose was rediscovered.

Our values

How we work, in five words.

These aren’t posters in the hallway. They’re the criteria we hire for, the way we run a hard meeting, and the test we hold our own decisions against.

01

Grace

Recovery is a process. We believe in offering patience, understanding, second chances while still maintaining clear expectations. Grace allows room for growth without lowering the standard for accountability.

02

Accountability

Real change requires honest mirrors. We hold high expectations not to punish, but because believing in someone’s potential is itself an act of respect.

03

Connection

Recovery happens in relationship. Between residents, with clinicians, alongside families — the work is done in the room, not in isolation.

04

Restoration

What addiction breaks can be rebuilt — not always to what it was, but to something whole. We work for restoration of self, of family, and of place in community.

05

Dignity

Every person who walks through our door is met first as a person. Diagnoses describe; they do not define.

Recovery is a process.
We’d be honored to walk through it with you.
